Getting to the Klamath County Fair
Located in south-central Oregon, Klamath Falls is the gateway to the Klamath Basin and the home of the annual Klamath County Fair. The Fairgrounds and Event Center are situated in the heart of town, easily accessible from two primary regional highways—Oregon Highway 140 and U.S. Highway 97—both of which connect to major travel routes throughout Southern Oregon, Northern California, and beyond.
Travelers arriving from the west, including the I-5 corridor or Medford area, typically enter Klamath County via OR-140 East, passing through Lake of the Woods and approaching town from the west side. Those arriving from the north or south, such as from Bend, Northern California, or points along the U.S. 97 corridor, will enter via US-97, then transition to local routes leading toward downtown Klamath Falls.
Once within Klamath Falls city limits, visitors should head toward South 6th Street, one of the city’s main thoroughfares. The Klamath County Fairgrounds & Event Center is located at 3531 S 6th Street, just a few minutes from downtown, with clear signage and ample parking. Whether arriving by car, RV, or shuttle, the Event Center is centrally located and easy to reach from anywhere in town.
