Built on the back of tireless touring, sometimes playing up to 240 shows in a year, Shane Smith and his bandmates have cultivated a loyal, growing fanbase. “That’s how we built this thing,” says Smith, a Terrell, Texas native who formed the group in Austin. “We’ve worked so hard to get here, and that hard work has created a beautiful, meaningful audience.”

Their latest album, Norther, captures the full spectrum of the band’s genre-defying sound. From the thunderous drive of “Book of Joe” to the stripped-back intimacy of “All the Way,” and the anthemic charge of “Fire in the Sky,” the album is a bold testament to their musical versatility.
